Death Toll from Moroto Tribal Clash Rises to 19

The death toll from last Thursday's tribal clash over a dam in Moroto district has risen to 19.
Thursday's fighting was sparked off by a group of Jie warriors who crossed into Panyangara Sub County in Moroto district and attacked the Bokora, who had taken their animals to drink water from Longerepi dam.
The Bokora in turn mobilized and launched a counter attack on the Jie leaving nineteen people dead.
The UPDF Third Division Operations and Trainings Officer, Lt. Col Paul Lokech, says the dead include nine children who were allegedly killed by the Bokora at Apa
