Four suspected rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) have been killed in Bundibugyo.
The UPDF 2nd division spokesperson, Lt. Tabaro Kiconco, says the suspects are believed to be part of a group of ADF rebels who survived last weeks battle.
Kiconco says the suspects- four men and two women were intercepted at Bambori along River Lamya, about 1 km from Semliki River, as they tried to cross back to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Kiconco says the rebels have been hiding in Ntandi Forest. The army recovered a machine gun and a Box of ammunition from the rebels.
According to Kiconco, this brings to 61 the number of ADF rebels killed, over the last one week.
