Four Rebel fighters of the Allied Democratic Force were killed by the UPDF on Wednesday, bringing the total of number of rebels killed in the last 10 days to 65.
The UPDF 2nd division spokesperson, Lt.Tabaro Kiconco, says a group of Allied Democratic Force (ADF) rebels was intercepted along Ibanda two, about 3 kms North-West of Karugutu town, following a tip off from the residents.
Lt. Kiconco says that the army recovered four assault riffles, four loaded magazines of live ammunition, a hand grenade and 138 rounds of loose ammunition.
He says the army is also encouraging the public to report any rebel collaborators to the authorities to stop the flow of support from the communities to the ADF.
