High Court Criminal Session in Masaka Suspended

The High court in Masaka has suspended a criminal court session which was to begin next week, lack of money.

The Masaka High Court Registrar, Thaddeus Opsen says that the court needs more than 15 million shillings to handle the cases.

Opsen says that 51 cases which were to be heard next week have been put on hold until court gets the money.

He says the majority of the cases are related to robbery, murder, rape and defilement.
