Security at Uganda Technical Playground in Lira has been stepped up ahead of this evenings match between Boroboro Holly Hill FC and visiting Police FC.
Boroboro FC Manager, Peter Ocan, says the deployment is in response to concerns that the match could turn violent especially after Boroboro Hill FC players were allegedly intimidated during an away match with Police FC at Namboole stadium.
Ocan claims that an official of Police FC club drew out a pistol at one of his player during the match they lost three to nil.
Boroboro goes into the game aware that they need at least a draw if they are to survive relegation and stay in the Super League for the next season.
The match also comes three days after the home side secured a 2-1 win against Maji FC at the home ground.
