Soroti School Closed Over iDemonici Attacks

News
A school in Soroti has been closed over alleged demonic attacks on the students.

Kachomia primary school, located in Kateta Sub County was closed on Wednesday after teachers and students fled the school citing demonic attacks.

Some children told the strange story of how the demons in form of two beautiful girls have been haunting them, and demanding for five girls to be their agents in the underworld.

The children explained that during the attacks, some of them become dumb and start fainting.

The Kateta sub-county LC5 councilor, Patrick Olinga, said only 20 students have reported to the school since the term opened, two weeks ago.

Olinga says the demonic attacks began last term, shortly after a huge snake appeared in the school and disappeared mysteriously when the teachers attempted to kill it.

On Wednesday a group of catholic priests launched special prayers at the school to cast away the demons.

The Soroti District Education Officer, Micheal Oumo Etoyu, says it has become difficult to keep the school open because the pupils continue to live in fear. He says the parents must intervene to solve the matter.
