Queen Won't Visit Northern Uganda

News
The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting taskforce has dismissed reports that the Queen of England will visit Northern Uganda, when she comes for the commonwealth heads of government meeting due in November.
The CHOGM national taskforce chairman, Kagole Kivumbi, also described as false reports that the Queen would commission a National Youth Centre in Gulu.
The center is being constructed by the Commonwealth Secretariat at Labora IDP camp in Gulu district.
Kivumbi however said that arrangements are being made for some members of the Royal entourage, to visit the northern region. He said the entourage would to commission the Youth centre on behalf of the Queen.
The Aruu county MP, Odonga Otto, had earlier said that he would petition the British High commission and the commonwealth secretariat, seeking consideration for the queen's visit to IDP camps in Northern Uganda.
