Kampala Woman Held Over ADF Boat

Crime
Hannifa Nalukwago, a resident of Kazo central zone in Kawempe a Kampala suburb has been arrested for her alleged links to the Allied Democratic Forces rebels.

Nalukwago was arrested on September 18th by unknown people. According to her relatives, Nalukwago was arrested shortly after she received a phone call instructing her to go and receive a package that was sent from abroad.

The army spokesperson, Felix Kulayigye, says that preliminary investigations show that Nalukwago is a sister to Hamim Serwanga an aide de camp to the ADF head Jamil Mukulu. She was supposed to receive a speedboat that was destined to the ADF in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Kulayigye says that Nalukwago is being held by the Joint Anti Terrorism Task Force, pending further investigations.
