Sabiny Cattle Rustlers Arrested Over Raids

Twenty-nine Sabiny cattle rustlers who last week raided more than 200 heads of cattle from Transzoa region, in Kenya have been arrested.
The suspects were arrested on Sunday, in a joint security operation conducted by the army and police in Kapnandi sub-county, in Bukwo district.
Lt Henry Obbo, the Eastern Uganda Army Spokesperson, says the suspects were rounded up after two of the rustlers arrested earlier, led security officials to the gang's hideout in Kapnandi sub-county.
Obbo says 50 heads of cattle and seven guns were recovered from the rustlers. The suspects are being held in Bukwo Central Police Station.
