Homosexuals, Lesbians Thrown out of CHOGM Peoples Forum

News
A combined force of Ugandan police and plain clothed security, have this afternoon thrown out six homosexuals and lesbians from the commonwealth's people's space at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
Trouble for the group started after they attempted to stage a performance depicting the plight of minority groups.
A group of born again Christians and Members of the mothers union stormed the venue and demanded to know why the gays were being allowed to stage their performance in a country where Homosexuality and Lesbianism are illegal.
A scuffle ensued during which one of the homosexual member identified only as Georgina, confronted pastor Martin Ssempa accusing the church of labeling the group as sinners. Georgina told Ssempa that the homosexuals also love God but would want to be recognized.
With the tone of verbal exchanges rising high, Pastor Ssempa sought out Warren Nyamugasira, the Chairperson organizing committee of the people's forum, and accused him of defying the law by allowing gay presentations.
Before he could even explain himself, a group of born again Christians rounded up Nyamugasira demanding an explanation about the gay's presence at the forum.
Nyamugasira provoked more wrath from the crowd when he said that the homosexuals are recognized by other member countries of the commonwealth and therefore they should be tolerated.
