Government officials colluding to sale traditional land- Bidandi

News
The former local government's minister, Jaberi Bidandi Saali, blames government employees for the current Land wrangles in Buganda region.
The year 2007 has seen the issue of land generate a lot of heat between the central government and the Mengo establishment.
Currently, the controversy lies on the 9000 square miles that are said to belong to Buganda-most of which has been allegedly sold- and government's proposal to have a referendum to stop land evictions by landlords has created a standoff between the two institutions.
Bidandi Ssali however says the major cause of the conflict in Buganda, unlike other areas in the country is due to collusion of government officials in the acquisition of land.

Bidandi however says a referendum or enactment of the current land laws can't address the issue since most of the people involved are big government officials. He however refused to divulge the identities of the government officials.
