Police in Kyenjojo district are investigating the circumstances under which a bodaboda cyclist was murdered and his body dumped in a tea plantation.
Richard Birungi, a 28-year-old boda boda cyclist was hired by unidentified people and ordered to be transported to an unspecified destination along the Kyenjojo- Kagadi road.

James Chemutai, the District Police Commander says Birungi's assailants dragged and dumped the body into Kihyoro tea plantation.
The body was discovered recently by workers plucking tea leaves. The workers reported the matter to police and the body was retrieved from the plantation.
