Two Rebel fighters of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) have surrendered to the government forces in Kibaale district.
Actherine Kamwine, the Kibaale deputy resident district commissioner, says the ADF fighters handed themselves over to the army yesterday. The two are Jaaja Abdul Rahaman Ssenyondo and Hajji Mumbere Mawazo.
Speaking on Kagadi Kibaale community Radio station last night, the duo urged their colleagues in the bush to surrender and help bring peace in Uganda.
The ADF particularly asked Tembo, Byansi, and Maama Fatuma Aisha, to give rebellion and return to their homes.
The ADF Rebel Fighters were escorted to the radio station by Arthur Mugyenyi, the District Internal Security Officer.
