13 UPDF Officers Demoted

News
Thirteen non-commissioned officers of the Uganda people's defense forces have been demoted for indiscipline.
The officers are part of 304 non-commissioned infantry commanders who have been undergoing training in Olilim military school in Katakwi district.
They were demoted on the orders of the Lt.Gen. Katumba Wamala, the commander of land forces.
According to the order, the officers have been who have been serving as section commanders have been demoted to the lowest rank of a private for drunkenness, absconding from duty and disobeying lawful orders.
Katumba Wamala, has instructed Brigadier, Patrick Kankiriho the third division commander to ensure the affected officers are demoted and dismissed from the training school.
