Apac District Operates Without Service Commission.

Apac district Local Government is currently unable to recruit staff required in many of its crucial departments due to an absence of approved District Service Commissions.

Nicholas Opio Bunga, the district chairman says so far the district has only two staff workers who were confirmed by the public service Ministry.

On Thursday, News reporters from Apac district, put the district chairman to task to explain why the district is operating without an information officer.

The reporters argued that it has become increasingly difficult for them to access vital information from the district.

But the Chairman explained that the snag caused by the absence of an information officer will soon be sorted out.
