A 47-year-old man in Ntungamo has committed suicide over a Land dispute.
Justus Kyoma's body was found hanging on one of the trees in his coffee plantation.
Salif Mugisha, the Nyakibale Cell, LC 2 chairman says that Kyoma had earlier had a disagreement with his wife Molly Kyomukama, over the proposed sale of their piece of land.
Kyoma planned to sell off the land so he could be able to clear off a 700,000 shillings debt. But his wife stuck to her ground and maintained that any possible land transaction is unacceptable.
Following the disagreement, Kyoma picked his bible and headed to a gospel crusade in Kirungu parish.
He later returned to his village and started praying for the sick, claiming that this would be the last time they are seeing him alive.
Kyoma then headed to his home, and then went to the coffee plantation where he hanged himself.
His body was found hanging by his son and wife.
The Police in Ntungamo are investigating the circumstances that prompted Kyoma's suicide mission.
