Police in Kabale are hunting for a group of unknown gunmen who attacked and killed an employee of Faith studio in Kabale town.
Jackson Agaba, a resident of Nyabikoni suburbs of Kabale Municipality, was attacked and killed on Wednesday Night by a group of assailants who initially approached his photo studio claiming they wanted to buy ground nuts.
Julius Batarimara, the Kabale district police commander says that a statement recorded by the deceased's wife shows that his husband's assailant demanded for money, but was shot in the back as he turned to pick the money.
The bullet ripped through his front jaw killing him on the spot.
Agaba's death brings to four the number of people that have been killed in a similar manner in recent days. No one has so far been arrested in connection with the murders.
