Benin Looks Up to Victory over Angola

Benin midfielder, Joecylyn Ahoueya believes Benin are up to the challenge of making an impressive outing at Namboole in the last game of qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations.

Ahoueya who plies his trade in Switzerland with FC Sion says that although Uganda is in dire need of beating Benin for the second place, they must sweat for the results.He is quick to argue that Uganda played well in Cotonou though the goalkeeper had butter smeared hands.

After a light evening training at Nakivubo stadium, the confident midfielder says that participation in Africa cup of Nations in Angola is their first priority before they can fight for places in the World cup.

Razak Omotoyossi who scored a brace in Cotonou against Uganda is yet to arrive but the team boasts of all the other big names like Oumar Tchomogo and Stephane Sessegnon.

Benin, Cameroon and Nigeria have secured places for the second round to be consisted of winners of the 12 group winners and the eight best runners-up.
