A family of four in Bundibugyo has been arrested for Murder.
The suspects- Lyahunda, Matikolo Isac, Byete, all brothers and their father Yerimiya Kasoro, are accused of murdering Muhindo Kalehire, a wife to one of the suspects.
Victor Namusesa, the Bundibugyo district police commander, says that Lyahunda brandishing a sharp panga, raided his brother's home in Ndugutu sub-county, and hacked his sister in Law to death.
Namusesa says that this action took place in full view of Kalehire's in-laws, who did nothing to save her from his brother in law's rage.
The motive of Lyahunda's heinous action is unclear.
The matter was brought to the attention of the police by the neighbors, leading to the arrest of the suspects.
The DPC says the suspects will be taken to court shortly to answer charges of murder.
