Kamwenge Police in Hunt For Suspected Murderer

Crime
Police in Kamwenge are investigating the circumstances under which a 30-year-old woman was attacked and killed by a group of unknown assailants.

Paskazia Kuhumbuka, a resident of Nyakabingo village in kantonzi parish was attacked at her home on Saturday night and killed. Her body was dragged out of the house and dumped in her compound.

Mwanga Kyaligonza, the criminal investigations officer, says that the motive of the murder is not yet clear. But he does not rule out the possibility that the murder could have been a result of love gone sour.

Preliminary investigations by police show that Paskazia separated from his lover sometime ago and has since been sighted with several men in her company.

No one has been arrested so far in connection with the murder.
