Pece Division Councilor summoned for Indiscipline

David Oringa Yelle, the Pece Vanguard councilor in Gulu municipality is in trouble for indiscipline.

Oringa has been summoned by the Pece Division Council to explain why he has been acting in an irresponsible manner, not befitting a councilor.

Denis Ocaya, The speaker, announced that Oringa, populary known as Paimol, was last week accused by the RDC Walter Ocora of conning people of their money.

According to the RDC, Oringa has been part of a dubious racket that has been extorting money from unsuspecting victims, under the pretext that they would help them get statehouse scholarships.

Earlier on, Geoffrey Otim, the Division LC3 chairman, noted that Oringa was becoming a disgrace to the council.

During a council meeting held on Monday at paragon Guest House in Gulu, Otim said that Oringa has failed to heed to the councils warnings.

But Oringa has described the allegations against him as baseless.
