Mpanga school girl committed to high court for murder

Crime
The grade two magistrate's court in Fort Portal has committed a sixteen year old girl to high court for murder. Shakira Kansiime a student of Mpanga Secondary School is accused of stabbing to death his former boy friend Tadeo Bukya.
Kansiime allegedly committed the offence on Oct 4th during the senior six leaver's party at Mpanga secondary. She is alleged to have stabbed Bukya after he abandoned her to dance with a girl.
She appeared today morning before grade two magistrate Godfrey Bindeba. Kansiime broke down in tears after Bindeba announced that she would be committed to high court that is mandated to try murder cases.
Kansiime has been returned to Naguru remand home in Kampala until when high court fixes a date for hearing the case. Members of public and her school did not show up in court as her appearance was kept secret. Kansiime found Bukya dancing with another girl. This angered her and she rushed to Mpanga market and bought a knife and stabbed Bukya to death.
