Cranes Leading in First Round

Sport
Uganda Cranes are leading in the first round of the final game in the CECAFA senior challenge cup being played this evening at Namboole National Stadium. Brian Omony put the Cranes in the lead ahead of their arch rivals Harambe Stars of Kenya in the 15th minutes of play.

Several Ugandan fans in the stadium predict a major victory for the Cranes, that is yet to lose a game since the tournament began two weeks ago.

Our reporter at Namboole stadium says that though Uganda still has an upper hand against the Harambe Stars, Ugandan fans are yet to make an impression on the players. The fans only cheer when the Cranes players are in possession of the ball.

Meanwhile several fans at the stadium are demanding for their complimentary Sodas and Water.

The Federation of Uganda Football Association [FUFA] pledged to give the fans soda and water for each of the tickets they purchase for the match. But it appears few drinks were brought into the stadium.
