Poultry sales in Soroti are unusually low this festive season.
A small survey carried out by Uganda Radio Network in Soroti's main markets yesterday indicated that although many traders had stocked a lot of poultry anticipating high demand this Christmas season, sales are poor.
John Ekellot, who has been in the poultry business for the last 15 years, said dealers have been forced to cut down the prices in order to attract buyers.
