19 Rally drivers have registered for the motor sport rally due in Mbarara district next week.
The two day rally event has been organized by the Federation of Motor Sport Clubs of Uganda [FMU].
The 340 kilo meter rally has eight competitive sections starting at Bushenyi on day one and end at Kyamugolanyi in Mbarara district.
Dr Ashraf Ahmed the winner of last year's rally and Susan Muwonge are amongst the top contenders in the rally. Other entrants include youngster Shariff Semujju and Isma Otega
David Nsonya the FMU's course clerk says that there are no new entrants.

He says that they will scrutinize the rally cars on Tuesday next to allow the driver's time to rush to Mbarara and check out the route.
