Police in Nebbi have arrested 3 people in connection with the murder of the Nebbi District Police Commander, Boney Zziwa.
Police spokesman, Asuman Mugenyi, identifies the suspects as Sunday Ongeyowun, Felix Alworonga and Zubedah Mulaleba. He says one of the suspects was arrested after he was found washing a blood stained knife suspected to have been used in the murder. Zziwa's mobile phone was also recovered from one of the suspects.
Zziwa was stabbed to death on Friday a few meters away from his home. His body was found dumped at Nebbi's Boma ground.
Meanwhile Zziwa's body has been transported to his ancestral home in Luweero for burial on Sunday.
