The Acholi community has formed a political pressure group to resist fraudulent attempts to grab land in the region.
The group, known as the Acholi Land Protection Unit is mainly composed of youths.

Ocan says that the decision to form the group follows several claims that there are people seeking to acquire huge lands in Acholi sub region illegally.
Ocan says that the unending claims of land grabbing in the region are causing tension among the community.
