A man who was thrown out of a wedding party for causing chaos, has killed two people injuring two others seriously in Rakai district.
After being thrown out of the wedding party held at Kitente village in Kifamba Sub County yesterday, Ronald Mutumba turned his rage on his neighbours Zephaniah Kisimwa and Benigna Nakacwa.
Juma Okungo, the Rakai DPC says that Mutumba hit Zephaniah Kisimwa with a hoe spliting his head open.
He then proceeded to attack Nakacwa in her house.
Nakacwa escaped from Mutumba using the window but he caughtup with her and hit her to death.
Okungo says that Mutumba later attacked Claudio Kintu and Salezia Namagembe, but they escaped with injuries.
Okungo says that they are investigating the incident and will charge Mutumba with murder.
Pius Lubega, the Kifamba Sub County LC3 Chairman says that Police should look beyond Mutumba's drunkenness because he could be a member of a notorious group that is behind the rampant murders in Masaka region.
This incident comes only a day after 2 men were beheaded in Kacheera Sub County, and another was cut on Saturday afternoon at Kabira also in Rakai district.
Kabira Sub County borders Kyanamukaaka Sub County where the Rapid Response Unit, was deployed over the weekend to hunt down thugs, who are suspected to have murdered about 10 people in the last one month.
