The cash strapped Toro Kingdom has received a boost of 3.5 billion shillings from Central Government.
The donation brings to four, the number of Kingdoms that have received funding from government.
In May this year, government donated money to Buganda, Bunyoro and Busoga kingdoms.
Saul Nyakabwa Mugasa, the Toro Kingdom minister for culture and clan mobilization says that the money that is to be channeled to the communities through clans is to be used for poverty eradication programs.

Nyakabwa says that some of the projects to be initiated include poultry farming, piggery, zero grazing, and farming among others.
Toro kingdom, recently leased out its land because of financial constraints.
