Police in Kiboga have recovered the body of a Munyakole pastoralist, who disappeared from his home on Saturday, last week.
Kwesiga Mwebaze's body was retrieved yesterday morning from Kisende dam in Kiboga.
Mwebaze left his home in Kasanda village of Dwaniro Sub County on Saturday at around 2:30 pm to water his animals at the dam but, never returned.
David Bagenda, the OC Dwaniro Police Post says that Kwesigwe's body was spotted in the dam, by a young girl who was washing clothes at the river bank.
She says that the girl raised alarm that attracted residents, who later informed the Police to help them retrieve the body from the water.
Bagenda says that Police has started investigating, what could have caused Kwesiga's death.
Family members of the deceased, say that he used to swim in the waters each time he took his animals for watering.
But John Kwesiga, the father to the deceased Kwesiga Mwebaze, says that his son has been nursing some problems.
Livingstone Ojuku, the spokesman of Kiboga Police says that, the body of Kwesiga was handed over to his family for burial, because it had started decomposing, by the time it was recovered.
