Godfrey Asaba, a businessman in Kyakapaya trading center in Hoima, has been arrested for allegedly sodomizing two pupils.
Asaba was picked up by Police yesterday evening when John Abembabazi, the LC I chairperson of Kyakapaya village reported the matter to Police. It is alleged that Asaba committed the crime on September 14th.
According to Zurah Ganyana, the Midwestern Police spokesperson, Asaba is alleged to have sodomized an 11-year-old pupil of Kyakapaya primary school.
She says that Asaba promised his minor victim a job the following day to dig in his garden.
Zurah says that police has information that the suspect on 8th of September attempted to sodomize, another 12 year-old boy.
Abembabazi says that the suspect sometime back was arrested for attempting to sodomize a young boy but he apologized vowing not to repeat the crime.
He says that the allegations of sodomy against Asaba have become common that's why he reported to police for his arrest. However, Asaba had denied the accusations against him.
Ganyana says that Asaba will be charged when the medical report proves that the minors were sexually abused.
