New low-cost cooking stoves that consume minimal amounts of firewood and pose lower health risks for users are now accessible to hundreds of women in Uganda.

Yesterday, the World Food Program launched a pilot project to provide the fuel-efficient stoves to women in Uganda and Sudan. A press release from the World Food Program
