Twenty police officers from Kasangati police station have been injured in a motor accident.
The accident occurred early today at Magigye, along Gayaza- Zirobwe road when the car the police officers were traveling in veered off the road and overturned.
Eye witnesses say the driver of the police car lost control while trying to over take another car.
Eleven cops sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Mulago hospital where they received treatment before they were discharged.
Only John Paul Ogong, who sustained serious injuries, is still admitted at Mulago hospital.
Police spokesperson, Judith Nabakooba says that none of the officers died in the accident.
Nabakooba says that cops were being transported to their duty stations.
