Bebe Cool's Arua Fans Disappointed

Entertainment
Fans of the hospitalized singer, Bebe Cool, were left hanging high and dry yesterday when he didn't show up for his concert at Arua Hill View Hotel.

Despite news that Bebe Cool was wounded in a shooting after the R Kelly concert in Kampala on Friday, Arua Hill View Hotel was filled to capacity. Bebe Cool's supporters were holding on to hope that he would make an appearance.

Francis Atiku, who had traveled from Yumbe for the show, said he wasn't informed in time that the singer was unable to perform. He lamented the loss of a good some of money he had spent to travel to Arua to see his idol.

Several singers who were expected to raise the curtain before Bebe Cool's performance refused to show up. Rumor has it that they didn't want to be seen to be celebrating Bebe Cool's fate.

James Odongo, one of the organizers of the Arua concert, said a lot of money was lost because of the failed performance. He however didn't say how much money his company had lost.
