Victims of the Bududa landslides are accusing their leaders of misappropriating relief aid.
The survivors claim their leaders are diverting relief aid from Red Cross for to their personal use.
James Wananguti, a 40-year-old man who lost his entire family accuses the leaders in Bukalasi Sub County of profiteering from the relief aid.
Wananguti claim that the leaders receive aid on behalf of the victims but fail to deliver it.
He says they are mourning but the leaders are instead using the disaster to enrich themselves.
Wanjusi Wasieba, the Resident District Commissioner Bududa admits there's a problem in the distribution process. He however says they have streamlined the distribution to be cover each affected.
In other news, the distribution of relief was on Saturday evening temporarily suspended from Bukalasi resettlement center after hundreds of villagers who are non victims stormed the place demanding for food aid.
The villagers disrupted the exercise which was being carried out by the Red Cross.
