News
Flora Kyarruzi Ekikina, the former Town Clerk of Malaba is in trouble for forging her academic qualifications.

She ran in trouble when Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, the Resident District Commissioner Tororo wrote to Makerere certify her degree certificate.

In a letter to the RDC date January 10, Alfred Masikye Namoah, the Makerere University Academic Registrar denounced the qualification as a forgery.

Masikye said that there are no records at the university indicating that Flora Kyaruzi was a student in the period from 1998/2002 for which she attained her qualification.

He said that the records to number that 98/U/642/EXT belong to Nagawa Assumpta who pursued an external degree programme in Bachelor of Arts Education.

Masikye also said that Flora Kyaruzi does not appear on the list of students presented for graduation of the same year.

He advised the RDC to compel, Ekikina to reveal the source of her degree transcript.

As a result Hashaka ordered the arrest of Ekikina forcing her to flee into hiding.
