The operation led by Kenneth Kiiza, the Regional drug inspector led to the recovery of drugs worth millions of shillings.

Kiiza noted that Kabarole district has registered an increasing number in illegal drug shops most of which are operated by unqualified personnel and with no licenses.

The National drug authority has been tipped about mushrooming drug shops especially in Buheesi, Kicwamba, Hakibaale, Kisomoro and Ruteete sub-counties in Kabarole district.

Kiiza says the operation will be expanded to cover other sub-counties.
