Over 145 families were displaced by floods in Butaleja district over the weekend.
The most affected families are from Mazimasa and Nampologoma sub counties.

Mutengo says that the affected families are in need of urgent shelter, food and medicine.
Mutengo says that property worth millions of shillings and crop gardens were devastated by the floods.
He appeals to government to intervene and held the flood victims. This is the third flood to hit Butaleja, within a space of 2 months.
