Nassiwa who owns a private clinic at Lumbugu Trading center in Rakai was arrested in March this year and charged with drug theft.

The DPC however says that her office learnt that Nassiwa had gone into hiding prompting a fresh search for her.
Nassiwa was re-arrested on Wednesday after staging a fierce resistance in Lumbugu trading center. She fought the policemen who had gone to arrest her prompting the DPC's intervention.
