Two boys – have been found dead in a house in Nalumunye Katale zone, just adjacent to the Jomayi lower estates in Kampala and police are seemingly unable to pinpoint the cause of their death.
15-year-old Henry Kizito, and his brother Richard Ssemwanga were found dead this morning, in a house belonging to Muheki Ainea, a Kampala businessman.
Preliminary investigations show that the brothers came to the area as casual laborers three months ago.
Sumaya Nakandi, a neighbor to Aine, says she became acquainted to the two boys and would often invite them to her home for a meal.
Nakandi, was however concerned when she sent her son on Thursday morning to call the boys for a meal and they didn't respond. Nakandi's son reportedly told her that the boys were dead asleep and his efforts to wake them up were futile.
Nakandi walked to the house herself only to find the boys dead covered in a blanket. She raised an alarm attracting the neighbors who in turn alerted the police this morning.
The circumstances under which the two boys dead remain unclear.
Police have cordoned off the scene of murder and have just recovered a pair of knives in the compound.
The Boys mother, Margaret Nakwanagi, arrived at the scene long after her boys had died.
The grief stricken woman, wailed uncontrollably, but managed to say that she is devastated by her sons' death.
She told police that she has in recent days been advising her sons to return home but with no success.
Armed with two mats, the heart broken Nakwanagi said she was ready to take her sons home for burial.
Police are investigating the possible cause of the Boys murder.
Meanwhile, residents of Nalumunye are worried about the growing crime in the area.
Nalumunye is one of the fastest growing housing estate and people say builders who are brought to construct houses in the area commit the crimes.
