Former Kasese Woman MP Joins LC V Race

Loyce Biira Bwambale, the former Kasese Woman Member of parliament has joined the race for the district LC V seat.

This brings to four the number of aspirants eyeing Kasese District LC V seat.

Other candidates are Rev. Canon Julius Kithaghenda the incumbent, Joshua Masereka the his vice and Rt. Lt. Col. Dole Mawa

Bwambale has already commissioned a huge team of campaign agents to solicit support for her bid to be elected as the official NRM candidate.

She says that despite the fact that she has joined the race several months behind her rivals she is confident to defeat them in the polls.

Bwambale says that she is going to use her experience and record as a former legislator to defeat her opponents.

She is also currently the deputy premier in Rwenzurur Kingdom.

It is not yet clear, whether Bwambale has already resigned her seat in the Kingdom because traditional leaders are barred from joining active politics.
