Ntungamo NRM Elders Accuse Mutale of Interfering in Party Nominations

Politics
NRM leaders in Ntungamo are accusing Ronald Kakooza Mutale, a senior presidential advisor for interfering in the nominations party flag bearers in the district.

They accuse Mutale of openly declaring support for Theo Tibihika, one of the candidates contesting in the NRM primary elections for the seat of Ntungamo municipality.

On Monday, Kakooza Mutale was in Ntungamo during the nominations of candidates for various political seats in the NRM primary elections.

It is alleged that Mutale urged NRM supporters in Ntungamo to vote for Tibihika because he is a stronger candidate who defeat Yona Kanyomozi, the IPC candidate.

Frederick Rwabukwitsi Rwabukuru, the head of Ntungamo Elder's league says that it is unfair for Mutale to campaign for one candidate yet they all belong to same party.

Speaking during the rally of Yona Musinguzi Bikwatsizehi, Rwabukuru said the involvement of Mutale in the primary election might split the party.

Now, Musinguzi has called on his supporters to stone the NRM yellow bus and Kakooza Mutale if he steps in the district.
