Lightning Kills Three in Gulu

News
Three children in Gulu have been struck dead by lightning.

The three all from the same family, died on Thursday evening during a heavy downpour at Omwonya village.

Santa Ajok, mother of the deceased, says her children were struck dead shortly after they rushed out to pick their clothes from the line.

Simon Obang, the children's grief stricken father, says the children will be buried on Sunday.

This is the second tragic lightening incident in less than year. In March, Bob Odonkara, a primary three pupil of Bobi Primary School, was struck dead by lightning, while three of his brothers survived with serious injuries.
