MP Kadunabi Eyes Kigongo's Seat

Ibrahim Kadunabi Lubega, incumbent Butambala County Member of Parliament has declared his bid to unseat Moses Kigongo, the national vice Chairperson of the ruling National Resistance Movement.



Kadunabi says that he has examined the challenges in NRM and is ready to use his ability to offer practical solutions to the problems.


He cites violence and electoral malpractice that has marred the NRM primary elections leading to the cancellation of poll results in several areas.



Kadunabi says that its time NRM starts looking at fresh blood to help veteran, leaders like Moses Kigongo.



Kadunabi contested in the NRM primary election for election as Butambala County NRM flag bearer but lost to his rival Faisal Kikurukunyu.




The NRM elections will be held later this week to determine the party chairman among other posts.
