Iganga Man Injects Step son with Paraffin

Edirisa Kawule, a 10-months-old- baby is battling for his life at Iganga Hospital after he was injected with paraffin by his step father.


The suspect is Zebidayo Basembeza, a resident of Busesa village in Bugweri county of Iganga


It is alleged that Basembeza injected Kawule with paraffin to kill him when his mother, Sylvia Namulondo refused to return the boy to his biological father.



Flavia Babirye, the officer in charge of the pediatric unit says that after the incident Namulondo rushed Kawule to hospital thinking that he was suffering from anemia.


She says that after examining Kawule they discovered that he was injected with paraffin.



Babirye says that they also discovered that Kawule's buttocks were rotting away, and had to use an incision to drainage the paraffin.
