Besigye says he Bears no Ill Will against Museveni

Election
Dr. Kizza Besigye, the Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate, has said that despite being persecuted by government, he bears no ill will against President Yoweri Museveni.
Speaking to a huge crowd in Arua town yesterday, Besigye said the Forum for Democratic Change is committed to working for peace and reconciliation in Uganda and said this includes forgiving government for persecuting his party members. Besigye released two doves as a sign of his dedication to peace.

Besigye said the socio-economic recovery of Northern Uganda and the West Nile region is a top priority of the Forum for Democratic Change. He said the reconstruction of those two regions would begin as soon as he wins next month's presidential elections.
Earlier Besigye addressed rallies in Koboko, Maracha, Terego and Rhino Camp. He was swamped by thousands of supporters who ran alongside his car for several kilometers to and from the rally venues.
