More than 500 people who crossed to the NRM party in Bushenyi district, have today morning stormed the district headquarters demanding to meet the president.

The group comprising mainly of the youths from different political parties, say that they can only handover their cards to the president.

Led by Elly Nuwmanya, the group claims that the youths also want to spell out to the president the terms and conditions of their decision to cross into the NRM party.

The NRM spokesperson, Mary Karooro Okurut, met the group this morning. She told the gathering that they will meet the president.

Karooro said that they should handover in the cards and avoid inciting violence.
