The Born Again Faith Federation will not endorse any presidential candidates in the February polls.
Pastor Joseph Sserwadda, the leader of the Born Again Faith Federation said this in an interview with Uganda Radio Network.
In 2006 general elections, leaders of some Born Again churches threw their weight behind President Yoweri Museveni. Some of the leaders openly campaigned for Museveni and urged their followers to vote for him.
But Pastor Sserwadda says that the federation has never backed any candidate and is not about to do it in this election. He explains that individual members of the federation are free to make their choice for president.
