Police in Gulu are questioning a 34-year-old woman from Unyama for murdering her husband.
Beatrice Akwero, resident of Akonyi Bedo village in Unyama Sub County with bsupport from one of her sons allegedly attacked and killed her husband, after a domestic brawl.
Oola was found dead on Tuesday Morning at his home in Akonyi Bedo village.
Neighbors told police that Oola and his family members often engaged in bouts of quarrels especially after taking alcohol.
Henry Akera, the deputy OC crime for central police station, said Akwero and her son are under police custody and will be charged with murder.
Akera says substantial evidence points to Akwero as the prime suspect in the murder of her husband.
Moses Byabagye, the OC Gulu Central police station, says this brings to two the number of Murder cases committed in Unyama County since January.
Byabagye said in January this year, a man was found dead and his body floating in the stream.
