Agago Man Drinks to Death over Prof. Latigo's Defeat

Odyeny Wonlango a resident of Dyebar village in Agago has drunk himself to death following the defeat of Professor Morris Ogenga Latigo in the just concluded parliamentary race.

65-year-old Odyeny Wonlango was found dead under a mango tree at his home on Monday.

He was last seen alive on Sunday evening while taking waragi at Kalongo town council to protest the loss of Latigo.

Peter Odokokara, the officer in Charge of Kalongo police post says that police received reports that Odyeny was a hardened supporter of Ogenga Latigo was drinking to regret his failure.

The death of Wonlango, brings to two the number of people who have ended their because of the loss of Latigo.

On Saturday Alfred Okello, a resident of Karum village in Karum parish, committed suicide shortly after Latigo was declared defeated by NRM's John Amos Okot.
